The steering committee of the Wolvercote Neighbourhood Forum has decided to pause the process by which twice-yearly rounds calling for applications are announced. There will be no Autumn round 2026.
The reason for the pause is that there are several prospective applications under discussion involving large sums of money. With shrinking funds and uncertainty as to when further CIL money will become available, the steering committee must proceed with greater caution than hitherto.
Applications will still be welcome, but they will have to wait until the steering committee decides the time is appropriate for them to be processed. The steering committee has also decided to look favourably on applications where demonstrable efforts have been made to seek alternative sources of funding that would reduce the amount of CIL required.
