Twenty applications for CIL (Community Infrastructure Levy) funding were received for consideration by the Steering Committee.
After consulting the public, the finals decisions of the Steering Committee (as of 1 July 2026) were as follows:
- 9.01 Summertown parking study: Passed – £6600
- 9.02 Replacement ovens for Cutteslowe Primary School kitchen: Rejected – Rebid for half the amount with matched funding suggested.
- 9.03 WYPC multi-sport pitch and security fence: Undecided – £67,560. The lease is being scrutinised by a Project Working Group.
- 9.04 Replacement oven for scout hut (for use by the Guides): Passed – £629
- 9.05 Replacement of Wolvercote Primary School PTA shed: Passed – £3300
- 9.06 Wolvercote Tree Group orchard information board: Revised bid Passed – £3116
- 9.07 Wolvercote Tree Group bee enclosure fencing: Passed – £926
- 9.08 Cutteslowe Community Centre solar panels and battery: Passed subject to planning permission – £23,036
- 9.09 ‘Wolvercomets’ stargazing initiative. A telescope plus, mount and tracker: Passed subject to conditions regarding insurance and storage – £1804
- 9.10 Wolvercote Primary School fencing and floodlights for multi-use sports area: Rejected
- 9.11 Baptist church renovation Stage 2: Undecided – £53,000. Two requirements needed; 1. Assurance that funds will be recovered should the church and hall be sold. 2. Contractors’ quotes required.
- 9.12 St Peter’s Church Old School (OSR) Room refurbishment: Passed – £9278
- 9.13 Wolvercote and Wytham summer festival shelters: Passed – £400
- 9.14 Ferry Leisure Centre squash court heaters: Rejected
